Buttered Popcorn Cocktail - Friday's 5 o'clock Wet Your Whistle Call!


My husband has been on a popcorn craze for the last week. He just can’t get enough popcorn. As I was looking for a unique cocktail for this Friday, I came across a drink that is sure to satisfy his popcorn cravings. I haven’t tasted it yet myself but it is supposed to taste just like Jelly Belly’s Buttered Popcorn jelly beans. Jelly Belly is the world's most famous candy bean. The candy producer is known for its natural flavorings and its countless varieties of extreme flavors, including buttered popcorn. Would this be too much to serve with buttered popcorn too? How about cookies? He is a cookie monster too!


Buttered Popcorn Cocktail

Ingredients:

1/2 oz Frangelico
1/2 oz Di Saronno Amaretto
1 oz Bailey Irish Cream
1/2 to 3/4 oz Buttershots

Method:

Glass: Old Fashioned or chilled liqueur glass

Pour all ingredients into shaker, add ice, shake or stir (whatever you prefer) and strain on the rocks or into a chilled liqueur glass with no ice.

Note: add more or less Buttershots to taste.
